SPS to SEAS Cross-Registration Process

Starting the First Friday of the semester, SPS students with the approval of their advisors are able to join the waitlist of courses opened to cross registration. IEOR will not approve the formal registration for a student before the first week of class or beyond the 3rd week of classes. IEOR will start checking waitlist starting the First Friday of the semester.

(Please note that we do not work evenings or on weekends)

Please refer to the below steps for cross-registration for IEOR courses:

  • Requests will be reviewed during the second week of classes; we do not approve the formal registration for a student beyond the 3rd week of classes.
  • Students should have met all requirements and should not have any holds on their SSOL accounts before submitting requests.
  • Students may request a maximum of 5 courses per semester and will only be approved to cross-register for up to 3 courses at SEAS, including Computer Science.
  • Students cannot attend a course unless they have been approved by SEAS to do so.
  • Should students have any questions regarding cross-registration, they are urged to contact their SPS advisor.
  • IEOR will not approve of petitions, appeals, class full, class conflict, class rules not met requests. Class must have space and must be on the cross registration website and will not allow any exceptions.
