Ebad Jahangir
Dr. Ebad Jahangir is an accomplished Systems Engineering leader with over 25 years of experience at the intersection of industry, academia, and government. His expertise spans systems engineering, technology development, innovation management, and cross-disciplinary integration. He is passionate about advancing engineering education and fostering inclusive, collaborative environments and has a proven track record in strategic research development, stakeholders’ engagement, and workforce mentoring.
He currently leads technology planning and management efforts in Strategic Technologies and Partnerships office of the RTX Technology Research Center, the central research entity of the RTX Corporation, supporting its three business units, Collins Aerospace, Raytheon, and Pratt & Whitney. These efforts focus on business development that aligns innovative technologies from multiple disciplines with applications and external funding opportunities to achieve long term organizational strategic goals while meeting short term tactical objectives.
Dr. Ebad Jahangir received a B.Sc. in Aerospace Engineering from University of Maryland, College Park and a Ph.D., also in Aerospace Engineering, from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He returned to education after a few years of professional experience to obtain an M.S. in Systems Design and Management from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
