Darshan Chakrabarti is a PhD candidate in the Department of Industrial Engineering and Operations Research at Columbia University, advised by Professor Christian Kroer. He joined the program in 2021 after earning a B.S. in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University in 2019, and is currently supported by an NSF Graduate Research Fellowship. His research sits at the intersection of computer science, economics, and operations research, focusing on applying first-order algorithms and online learning techniques to problems in computational game theory and mechanism design.
