Jalaj Bhandari

PhD Student

Jalaj is a PhD student in the IEOR Department, currently working on design and analysis of Reinforcement Learning (RL) algorithms with Prof. Garud Iyengar and Prof. Daniel Russo. In the past, he has done research work with Prof. John P. Cunningham on Bayesian Machine learning, specifically in designing computationally efficient Markov Chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) algorithms for posteror sampling. He is also interested in Variational Inference, Generative Modeling and broadly at the intersection of Optimization and Machine Learning.
