PhD Student

Huajie Qian is a Ph.D. student in Operations Research under the supervision of Henry Lam. His primary interest lies in simulation uncertainty quantification, data-driven analysis of stochastic simulation, and their connection to (distributionally) robust optimization. He is also developing statistically efficient schemes for solution assessment and validation in stochastic optimization. Before joining Columbia, he received a B.S. degree in Mathematics from Fudan University and an M.S. degree in Applied and Interdisciplinary Mathematics from University of Michigan.
