Michal Dar

Michal Dar joined the Columbia University Industrial Engineering & Operations Research Career Placement team in 2022. She guides and supports the Business Analytics Master students in navigating their career paths and promoting their professional development.

After serving in the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) as a commander in the Psychotechnical Assessment unit, Michal channeled her curiosity towards understanding organizational dynamics and people's motivations to achieve her bachelor's degree in Psychology and Labor studies from Tel-Aviv University and a Master's in Social – Organizational Psychology from Teacher's College, Columbia University.  Apart from serving 2 years in the IDF Mickey also has experience in Human Resources, Recruitment & Training, and Administration of Talent Assessments. She is passionate about using her experience and academic background to help her students reach their goals.
