ABSTRACT

Derivatives markets reflect an increased expectation of take-overs in a characteristic fashion. This unusual behavior might be indicative of insider trading or simply reflect altered analysis of the attractiveness of an acquisition. In either case, an astute observer will be in an advantageous position.

Work with Sacha Stanton, also from IEOR.
