Framurz is currently working with Citibank in New York as a Vice President for the Risk Management Group. He is responsible for developing credit risk strategies by performing simulation studies and other analytical tests. Prior to joining Citibank, Framurz graduated in 2011 from Columbia University's MS Program in Financial Engineering program. While at Columbia, he was involved with research projects in Algorithmic Trading and Commodity Structured Products. He was initially a summer intern at ION Trading in the Trading Strategy and Modeling Group and subsequently worked for Lloyds Bank as a fall intern in the Structured Finance, Corporate Banking division.
Before coming to Columbia, he worked for one year with Unilever in India. Framurz completed his undergraduate studies at University of Mumbai, India majoring in Chemical Engineering and stood second in the university. He was also an exchange student to Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay. His publications include 2 books in Applied Mathematics. In his free time, he likes playing chess, reading and participating in networking events.
