Elaine is an associate performing custom risk analyses and presentations across Morgan Stanley Investment Management’s $130B equity products to provide insights into investment and portfolio construction for clients, portfolio managers and senior management based in New York City. Prior to joining the firm, she worked within the global analytics group at AllianceBernstein, the investment division of The Ford Foundation, and the asset allocation division of Prudential Financial. Before moving to the investment world, Elaine's career was in artificial intelligence with face recognition specialty at top-tier research groups in China.

Elaine is level 3 candidate in the CFA program and CAIA charter holder. She also serves as Entrepreneurial Officer at Tsinghua Alumni Association, Vice President at Nankai Alumni Association, providing exclusive source for alums to stay connected globally and volunteers at Rising Tide Capital, transforming lives and communities through entrepreneurship.  Elaine received a B.S. in Automation from Tsinghua University, an M.S. in Computer Science from Chinese Academy of Sciences and an M.S. in Operations Research from Columbia University in 2010.
