Chang Qi graduated from the Operations Research program. She started the program in September 2013. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Operations Research and Statistics from Carnegie Mellon University. Prior to coming to Columbia, Chang has had several internship experiences working in different financial services sectors. Her responsibilities ranged from providing banking services to corporate clients, to researching and building bond risk models, and to monitoring financial product performances. Through these internships, she learned about different aspects of the financial services industry and gained hands-on working experience.
Chang loves to meet and communicate with people from different backgrounds. She is very interested in interacting with her peers and getting to know prospective students.
