BS in Operations Research:Financial Engineering

After graduation, Alex worked for nearly five years as an interest rate derivatives trader at UBS and the Royal Bank of Scotland. He left finance to pursue a career in public health. Alex received his MPH in Epidemiology and Applied Biostatistics from Columbia's Mailman School of Public Health. He is currently a PhD student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill studying epidemiologic methods and the epidemiology of the aging population infected with HIV.

He graduated from Columbia University with a B.S. in Operations Research: Financial Engineering as part of the pilot class in 2008.
