Ahmed Makhlouf

MS in Operations Research

Ahmed Makhlouf is a first-year master student in Operations Research who started his graduate program in September 2012. Before coming to Columbia, he worked for Three years in Nestle Middle East's Head Quarters, based in Dubai as a supply chain analyst.  He holds a bachelor of engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from The American University in Cairo.

During his tenure at Nestle, Ahmed worked on a wide range of projects including leading the redesign of the distribution network for 13 countries in the Middle East and developing sourcing strategies for conflicted countries such as Syria.
